West Essex Regional School District Reviews
Loved my high school! I felt very prepared when I started college. The teachers and staff were always so kind and helpful, especially the guidance department. My guidance counselor went out of her way to accommodate my academic needs throughout my four years there. A huge part of West Essex was the clubs and of course sports; which is always essential to a college application. I am thankful to have gotten a high school education at West Essex.
I will always cherish the six years that I spent in the West Essex Regional School District. While the curriculum was challenging, the teachers were fantastic and always made sure their students understood the material. The effort required to succeed at West Essex definitely prepared me for the rigor of college. As great as the academics at West Essex were, the extracurricular activities were just as great. There was a diverse selection of activities to get involved with, from athletics to theater to robotics. As a student who was involved in educational clubs, music, and sports, I can say I benefited from the assortment of options. All of my coaches and teachers will always have a special place in my heart for the athlete, person, and student they shaped me into. I very much enjoyed my time at West Essex and I will always be grateful that I grew up in the West Essex District.
I feel that West Essex School District provides me with plenty of opportunities for success. I feel well prepared for college, as many of my teachers have tried very hard to get me ready, especially my AP teachers. Help is offered to me whenever I need it, as many teachers are willing to sit down and take the time to go over concepts that I did not understand. It is easy to become part of the community at West Essex, since there is a large variety of clubs to join and there are so many top-level sports programs. I have seen many students graduate from my school committed to top universities for both their excellence in their sport and their academic achievements. If there was anything I would like to change about my school, it would be that I feel like my school is not very diverse, and does not give as much attention to the arts as it does sports.
