West De Pere School District Reviews
All of the teachers I had are very passionate about what they are teaching, and who they are teaching to. They use strategies to keep students engaged and interested in the subject being taught. The community at WDP is also fantastic. It is a midsize school, where you know just about everyone in your class which allows for classmates to support one another. West De Pere is very cliquey, however. But if you are able to surround yourself with good people, and friends, you will undoubtedly have a good experience in the West De Pere School District.
The teachers and staff are all very supportive and love to see their students succeed. Whether the student is high achieving or needs a little extra help, there are staff members equipped with the training and the heart to help students reach their full potential. The schools are kept tidy and maintained pridefully. The district is tied very closely to its community, and loves to see the school create successful young adults through college and work readiness focused academics.
We are very technologically advanced, a lot of our teachers are super willing to help whenever and go above and beyond. The only thing that I think is very annoying is that the school spends thousands and thousands of dollars when it comes to sports, yet the art program last year had to go the entire trimester without any brown paint. There is a very sad budget gap that I believe is unfair.
