Throughout all my school years I've attended West Clermont Local School District. When I started the district had two separate High Schools known as Glen Este and Amelia. I believe combining the two school was a great choice. The two schools had different courses to offer. For example Glen Este had a dance class, but Amelia did not. By combining the two schools it gave every student in the district the same opportunities. In the High School they were able to add other classes. The new High Schools were needed for sanitary reasons as well. One classroom had a serious hole to the point you could see the creek behind the school through it. At one point my friend and I started to notice she seemed to have an allergic reaction while in a certain classroom. We found out there was a lot of mold in that room which is something my friend is severely allergic to. I am thankful we were able to get a new school with safe and clean facilities.

West Clermont has teachers that are involved with your kids learning. Lack of parental involvement is a big factor in West Clermont, as it seems that has the biggest factor in lower scores. When your parents don't take the time to be involved with their children's academics it's a failure not only for them, but for the district as well. The new high school is top notch in the nation, and academic diversity and availability will be through the roof. It's up to the kids and the parents to take advantage of what WC has to offer! I have children in WC both high and elementary schools. Love every teacher they have had and have currently!
It's nice, all the teachers are usually pretty helpful as long as you are trying you should do fine. The building for the high school is brand new too! If that means anything to you.
