West Central Valley is a great choice when moving into a small town school. West Central Valley is a place where everyone knows everyone. We all grew up knowing each other and are friendly to those who are new comers to the district. At the high school most people know everyone in the other grades. Our school host amazing school dances for the seasons. This includes prom and homecoming. Getting on the committee to plan is easy and so much fun to do! However, sports are a tough subject for our school. We have an amazing cross country, volleyball, soccer, and wrestling team but the other sports get a little rough. Our school does have amazing school spirit although these tough times with our sports. West Central Valley is a great small town, socialized school district.
My experience at West Central Valley has been quite a ride over the last four years. I believe that I have grown so much from my freshman year to senior year, I’ve definitely found the person I’ve been looking for in myself. High school has been really good to me, I’ve found the most amazing friends with amazing bonds, and I’ve discovered who I want to be in the future. All of my teachers and school councilors have helped me through so much when I was feeling down. They always got me back on my feet and that’s what I appreciate the most. Always having people that I can rely on to help me figure things out when they get though.
Small School surroundings. The teachers are great and are more than willing to go one on one with students to help them out of sticky situations. Our fine arts programs do great at competitions and almost always come out on top yet, receive very low funding. However, students still prevail none the less.
