West Bend School District Reviews
Many dedicated teachers! However, in some of the lower level classes students are allowed to get away with a lot. Also, hardly any windows in the school, which makes it feel very closed off.
Administration only cares about collecting their pay checks. A good amount of teachers genuinely care about their students but there are some who are just so fed up with the people running the school that they simply do not care. High school is not safe, with students having little to no disrespect for any teacher, aid or administrator. No discipline and no reprimanding for actual poor behavior. Uses money only for sports, while science department suffers(just one example). Only reason it gets 3 stars because I’m not ungrateful for my education, but I know it could be better. There is somewhat of a racists and homophobic vibe, and that is sensed all throughout the halls. Overall, not amazing environment, but not the worst I suppose.
As a part of Kettle Moraine Lutheran High school in Jackson, Wisconsin, I have had a wonderful experience in high school. The facilities are always being updated and people are trying to give us the best they can. The sports programs here are awesome and there are so many people in the community that support us. The campus is well kept and managed while the school itself is also well managed and frequently updated. The support from the community is a huge factor here as well as they help raise money or find other ways to support our school. I am so thankful to be part of my high school in the West Bend school district and I hope others are enjoying it as much as I am.
