As a 2020 graduate of the Wellington Exempted Village School district and a longtime student here, I have come to know a good majority of the students and have built relations with the better teachers. I started at Wellington from pre-school age, experiencing each grade with the same set of people for 13 years. The Class of 2020 was a mere 93 students here.

It's a small district where everyone knows everyone, however you will never escape bullies or those who just wish to put you down. The students are probably where the school falls short, as there isn't much punishment aside from a simple slap on the wrist and on they go to torture the same kid once
again. Only did multiple offenses earn proper punishments.

Some teachers can be extremely biased and show favoritism here, but most were typically caring and truly showed their interest in teaching us. I have met some extremely wonderful teachers here, such as Mr. Perry and Ms. Gallagher, who will always remain as my favorites.

For a small school, Wellington has a lot to offer its students. There are a variety of sports and clubs and plenty of opportunity to be involved. Because of its size, there were limitations to the variety of elective classes to choose from, but they make sure you have what you need to graduate and that's what matters. For me, the benefits of a small school (small class sizes, more personal, teachers know you) outweigh and negatives compared with large schools.
I liked the atmosphere of the place and how nice the teachers were as they always did everything in their power to help future students succeed. It was great when I was there because whenever I asked a question, they were there to help me answer it. I feel like the future of college is very important and our schools are helping us pursue that so we can make better of ourselves and change the world when we’re older.
