Great teachers overall. I would like to see teachers at the high school level more focused on creating challenging assignments. Many teachers let students "do what they want" or don't assign many or challenging assignments, especially for seniors! I had this experience in many technology classes.
Great growing up in the district K-12... Final years were very disorganized. My elementary and middle school years were fantastic. In highschool the administration was not very good. However, I got the opportunity to participate in New Visions Medical which is what really prepared me for college!
It was a good district, I feel it was pretty average. Very good academics. However, as I got older I found that there was more of a focus on just getting kids to graduate rather then being successful. Athletics were also average, some sports were successful and others were ignored, especially the girls sports programs. I would like to see greater representation for academic help and support, as well as more recognition for girls sports teams.
