Moving from big-city Parker, Colorado to small-town Weatherford, Oklahoma at the start of junior year, many would think that adaptations and adjustments would be difficult. Of course, making new friends was hard because everyone grew up together. However, teachers and students of Weatherford High School welcomed me with open arms. Not only did I feel apart of the Weatherford High School family but this school environment is very focused on getting an education as well as encouraging students into getting involved in extracurricular activities. Overall, I am glad to say that Weatherford High School is a great school.

The classes were usually no larger than twenty-five students, so there is a lot of one-on-one interaction with all of the teachers! They strive to not only teach academics, but also life skills!
Overall a great school! The academics are very well and its small enough that you get the "one-on-one" time you need with your teachers. A longer lunch would be more appreciated, especially with all of the construction going on in town. Sports/sports facilities are very well kept up with. Pretty diverse for the size of the community.
