I love the athletics and college preparation the school provides. They have great teachers and very nice students. The only thing I would like to see change is the your choice program where students from the cities are accepted since they do not have the best schools in North Minneapolis. But, surrounding districts are not given the same choice even though the schools are becoming very unsafe there also. Cooper High School is a great example. Basically, kids are fighting for their lives there but, not offered the same opportunity as kids a couple of blocks away.

What I love about this school is that there is something for everyone: chess, writing, debate, sports. There’s is a huge variety of sports at wayzata. However, this school isn’t just amazing with their extracurriculars. They have an outstanding amount of different classes someone can take like criminal law, forensics, journalism, etc. I feel welcomed and supported in this school everyday and that is the type of atmosphere every school should have.
I loved Wayzata! My elementary school, middle school, and high school experiences were amazing! I found so much opportunity in such a big school.
