My high school gave me wonderful academic experience. I had countless opportunities to expand my knowledge on a numerous subjects. The teachers are all very helpful and caring. They provided ways to get involved in helping out our school and community. The students' engagement created a great sense of school spirit. The only downside of my school was the extremely competitive nature of it. Rather it be academic, sport, or college related, students would compete for positions and not support one another. The other negative to my school was the lack of diversity both racially and economically. I felt like there was not a good representation of other cultures. Despite these drawbacks, Wayzata Public Schools provide an excellent education as well as a strong curriculum and staff.

I love the diversity of opportunities at Wayzata High School! The teachers are very resourceful, helpful, and truly care about the students well-being and academic success.
I had a great experience at Wayzata High School. The academics are great and there are many resources to help you succeed. The administration is strict and not every teacher is helpful or supportive. I have met my best friends by going to school at Wayzata and I have met some teachers that I will have connections with for life. The school counselors and social workers are very supportive and accommodating. The school culture is very supportive during school events, such as sporting events. However, there can be a lot of controversy at Wayzata because it is a large school with a wide variety of students.
