I enjoy the classes I am in and the teachers I come in contact with. My issue with our school system is that children with learning disabilities or lower intelligence levels are put into classes with students who could not care less about their grades or futures, ultimately disadvantaging those who have learning disabilities or other issues. The teachers for the harder classes care about their job and their students, but most of the regular-level classes are taught by those who act in unfavorable ways to their students. Overall, I like my high school because I push myself and enroll in classes with teachers who care about their students, but I may feel otherwise if I hadn't done so.

The teachers are very passionate about what they do and are always willing to help us students out when we need it. The school is competitive which is nice because it makes students work hard and become better at whatever they want to do. The only downside to the school is that the building is very old and because of that there are a lot of broken things that don't work. There is also a very little representation for any military option after high school so many students don't even think to consider joining as an officer or enlisted.
The people who run Wayne's public schools truly care about all of the students and, when faced with a problem concerning the district, try to make decisions that will benefit the entire student body. The majority of the teachers are knowledgeable in their designated subjects, though some tend to get off topic during class sessions. The cafeteria food is by no means outstanding (I rarely buy lunch at school), however I found that the amount of lunch options offered increased when I entered high school (which was a good thing).
