WCPS made learning fun and useful. It was a great school that focused on students, grades, sports and education. A great environment for future students to learn and grow as a future college student. I was happy with the outcome I had and would recommend it to anyone that is around Goldsboro area. One thing I would like to see different is the size of classrooms. More room to learn and uphold educational games in classrooms.

Wayne County Public Schools is a school system that is average and can improve more. WCPS needs to work on providing modern technology and books. In many of the schools, the books are heavily used and have outdated information.
We also need to work towards hiring better teachers, teachers who care about their students. There are many teachers who only care about the paycheck and do not try to make sure their students are learning and fully grasping the materials.
Wayne County Public Schools is advanced in the idea of diversity as well as academics. This is seen through its acceptance of Wayne School Engineering and Wayne Early Middle College High School. However, this does not mean that it does not have its difficulties. This includes many closures due to inclement weather although many times it turned out to be a nice day. Overall, it is a good school district.
