Watertown is a pretty good school, they have fantastic teachers and are involved with the students. I believe they need to take extra safety precautions to ensure students, family and faculty feel safe at all times. I am proud to have been a Royal! Once a Royal, always a Royal!
My experience at Watertown Mayer has been great, especially since I got to high school. I love all the event the school does for Homecoming, Winter Break, etc… it really makes the whole high school experience fun. And another thing that I really love about my school district, especially in the high school is how all the people come together. My school had made it to the semifinals for football and I remember looking g back in the stands and see basically the whole town cheering. I love Watertown Mayer.
Watertown-Mayer is a great school. I will be graduating with a class of a little over 100. Because of this the community is great, everyone knows each other. All of the teachers build a personal relationship with the students as well which creates a much better learning environment for all of the students. I have friends that have gone to bigger schools such as Wayzata. For them it was harder to ask for help because kids are not near as comfortable talking to their teachers. The one downside was that we were not good at sports. When compared to a double A school we just do not have the numbers to have people trying out for sports teams. Basically, you do not have to work very hard to be on the varsity team. In my opinion this does not matter. The most important part of a school is its ability to teach its classes the material and get them ready for college. I would recommend this school to anyone who is looking for a good school to send their kids to.
