I think that Waterotwn-Mayer schools are good for people who enjoy being in a smaller close community. In this school you know almost everyone you walk by. Our community is not very diverse but we are inclusive of everyone. I think one of the highlights of out school is our CIS programs. With this program it allows students prepare for collage with collage courses and earn collage credits. This saves a lot of time and money in the future. Most teachers care a lot about how you do in your classes and do what they can to help you. We also have very good band, choir, and theater program in our school with a very nice performing arts center. I think that one of our biggest downfalls are the diversity in our school because we are so small. Overall I think that this school has a lot of advantages and I would recommend to most students.

The guidance counselor sucks at her job, unfortunately. I have missed out on scholarships because of her. The football team is heavily favored despite not winning anything, and other sports are cast to the side. The gymnastics and girls basketball teams are okay. All the music departments, theater, etc. are pretty good, as are the clubs. The students do have some spirit.
I think Watertown-Mayer High School has a very great environment, the teaching staff is always happy to help you and they all genuinely care about you. I do not feel out of place there and I feel like I could go up to any teacher in the building with my concerns and they would do everything in their power to help me. I only gave my school 4 stars however because sometimes I feel as though other students with a higher social status lets say takes priority and the students like me who do not always get noticed or who do no stand out do not have any sort of priority, maybe that is just a me thing. I am a more quiet and reserved person so maybe I just do not get noticed or recognized because of that.
