Watertown High School was a good experience. There is very nice people, the teachers and staff are very helpful. Although it was a good experience, there is some things I would change. I would change the fact that they should prepare their students for the outside world. There is so many things that need to be taught that people experience on a daily basis. For example getting a loan, or getting an apartment or a car. I just believe they should expand more.

Great athletics but could use more funding. Due to the school being in the city and about 70% of the students families are below the poverty level, there is free lunch offered to everyone which is great and beneficial to all. The school has a great music program that often travels and gets as much recognition as the student athletes. Does not do well in college preparing.
Overall, my education in Watertown was good. My elementary school was Ohio Street, and from what I remember, it was a good school. Wiley Intermediate was great, and Case Middle School was pretty good too. The school I have an issue with is the high school.
My education at Watertown High School was fine. I had decent teachers, but I know of many others that weren't the best at their job. The administration is a joke. Also, that school is in desperate need of renovations. Pretty sure it hasn't been properly updated since the 80's. The lighting in the hallways is poor, the bathrooms are always dirty, and most of the lockers are too small to fit your things in. They really need to consider renovating that place.
