My experience at Washington Unified School District was very memorable. When I first attended the school I had to start all over since I had just moved to the city and I met a lot of nice people and cool teachers who made the transition easy. Some of my teachers were really helpful and gave some good advice and life lessons that I will take with me when I leave high school. The school has a small student population so everyone knows each other which is one of the things I like the most about the school because it makes me feel more comfortable with the people in my surroundings. Another reason I like the school is because I really feel like it prepared me for college with all the AP and Honor courses I took, which gives me some confidence once I go into the college I end up choosing.
Our school I could say would be one of the best ones in the Fresno District. We have so many available programs that help students kickstart their career paths. Also, our counselors do a great job of getting students prepared for life after high school. This school is great!
The whole district is basically a family. As long as families stay involved in their children's education, and children are active in their participation with school, everyone will have an amazing experience! Staff and faculty are usually always willing to go beyond their job description to help students achieve their goals, and because of the small setting students earn the best help from the staff.
