I like that Washington Unified has a diverse array of oppurtunities for students to partcipate in extracurricular/community activities. However, the emphasis on academics at WUSD is below that of these oppourtunities and cultural experiences. As a student in WUSD, I would like to see more focus on academic acheivement so that we are better prepared to continue our education at (and not drop out of) a four-year college or university.
Good so far, my school addresses all student issues. I am a student at Washington Middle College High School.
I have been in this school district since 3rd grade. In every school that I have been to, there was a clean school available for a positive learning atmosphere, kind and approachable teachers in every classroom, and cooperative peers.
