I have lived the majority of my life in Washington Township and it's very easy to say that Washington Township is a great place to grow up in. I have been through all three levels of schooling - elementary, middle school, and high school - in Washington Township. Because the township is so large, I have never felt left out or unable to fit in. The public school system provides a plethora of opportunities for any-aged student. If there's a community event, everyone from every school will be there. The sports team become well appreciated through high school, but you can even start intramural sports very young. Personally, I know it's easy to make friends that you can grow up with your entire youth. You can meet them from school, sports, clubs, community events, or virtually anything. As for the schools themselves, they provide a comfortable and fun environment that students can easily mold into memories.
Review Washington Township Public Schools
I attended WTHS from 2012-2016. Overall, my time in the high school was well spent and most of my teachers really made me enjoy my classes. There are many sports and activities that go on in and around the school such as sports games and musicals. I was in the Art Club, Student Council, Students In Action, Show Choir, National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society, and Orchestra. The high school gives students many options and opportuinites to find what they enjoy and want to continue doing in the future.
From our own experience elementary through middle and high school, the staff and teachers care and treat my kids like family. This is especially true at the elementary level. The district does a lot for the community in terms of service projects. It is quite a large district, so, it can be more of a challenge to have the same connections come high school. Academics offered for all skill levels.
