Warwick seems like it should be a good school, and in many ways it is. It has a thriving arts department, one-to-one technology, and plenty of extracurriculars, however the administration often fails to help marginalized groups of students such as the LGBTQ+ students that face aggression from many of the other students. A semi-recent event involved students protesting the administration's lack of action against the use of homophobic and transphobic slurs against LGBTQ+ students, and the administration responded by giving many of the protestors in-school-suspension.
I was new to Warwick in my junior year. Everyone was welcoming & made me feel accepted. Of course that doesn't mean I clicked with everyone & made friends instantly, but I had an amazing time there! The music department is incredible! We took a trip to Tennessee last year & it was so fun! The music department is inclusive of everyone & they really put on amazing shows! I also loved all of my teachers, there wasn't a class that I was struggling with completely and all the teachers are there for you to help out! Warwick also offers lots of AP classes which is great! I took AP civics & didn't find it too difficult & found the lessons and discussions very interesting. The school overall is set up very nicely & is easy to navigate. The school has a great atmosphere & amazing student body & administration. They handle things very well & are there for the students through anything. The community of Lititz is absolutely incredible & unlike any other community I have ever seen!
I had an enjoyable time while at Warwick School District. I really enjoyed the teachers that I had a chance to work with. The teachers at Warwick School District invest a lot of time into the students by being free to help them with content and things going on outside of school. I have really appreciated the connections that I continue to have with the faculty after graduating!
