Warrior Run should better prepare students for college. There should be a course that students can take if they plan on going that explains the FASFA, student loans, college life, applying for school, applying for scholarships, etc.. I feel if my classmates and myself would've been offered a course like this we would've been much more prepared for the "pre college" tasks. Since no one in my family had ever gone to college they had no idea of what any of this was and we had to stumble through it all and figure it out as we made mistakes.

We have very good teachers and administrators. Lots of parental and community support. Kids are friendly. Not a very diverse area of Pennsylvania. Good sports and classes. Safe schools. Facilities need work, but school board is planning a new elementary school.
Many people complain about Warrior Run students having a disadvantage by being in a smaller, older, country school. I can confidently say that WR is one of the best schools in the state, if not the country. The teachers are personable and know each and every one of us by name making it easy to talk about school or life in general. We have a plethora of advanced placement classes and great elective options. Our school has more than what meets the eye. It might not be the biggest or the newest, but it is way beyond it's time in matters of education, personality and preparation.
