Wamego Unified School District Reviews

3 reviews
Overall I had a good experience in Wamego schools. A lot of great teachers, but there were also several rather inept ones as well. Administration changes led to many problems. Teachers became unhappy, students felt as though their rights were being tramples upon, and parents were frustrated with the new policies. Their was also a rising drug problem within the district and the administration was not handling it in a productive manner. Overall the teachers were great and helped push students in the right direction, but the administration causes more problems than they solved.

The teachers really care if you learn the material and about your well-being. Teachers are available to work with students if they need support. The counselors are the nicest people you will ever find.
Their grading system allowed for students to relearn the material without their scores begin affected.
