Wallenpaupack Area School District Reviews
The education and extra-curricular activities offered are amazing. The quality of learning and experiences available to students are fantastic. However, bullying remains an issue. They try to combat it, but it is deeply embedded into the school. To combat this, they have a phenomenal cyber (online) schooling program. In this program, you may still participate in school activities and walk in graduation.
I enjoyed being a student at Wallenpaupack due to its CTE Programs and their graduation requirements. This gave me experience in certain fields to help me figure out my ideal education for the my future. Also the teachers there have a great mindset of wanting their student to success, so they don't limit their time for student to get help. The facility also help students through emotional situations and are always willing to be listening hear. This school is also get when it comes to showing their pride whether its during prep rallies or during football games; students are their to give their support to their other students.
It is a wonderful school district with teachers that care and lots of opportunities in many different fields. The administration and board really try to offer students different programs of study and give us good technology. The classes are usually at a challenging level, and there are tons of AP classes to take. The facilities are nice and taken care of. The music and art programs are amazing and well funded with good instructors. There are a lot of different clubs to join, and many of them take exciting trips even internationally. The campus is scenic as it's next to a lake and surrounded by the woods. The social atmosphere isn't too chaotic. In fact, it's pretty rare to have a school fight.
