I recently just moved to Walla Walla High School and I believe students who transfer to that school don't hear much about the clubs and after school curricular activities at all. The staff at the school are amazing! They are willing to help anyone at any times, they go above beyond the amount that they are given. The academics that are offered at the school are great and they prepare you for college and if they don't your the one who is doing something wrong, if you can't figure it our just talk to a staff member they will get you the help that you need in order to get you back on track. I would recommend anyone to go to Walla Walla High School and if won't be a waste of your time, you will see the results in the end.

The Walla Walla Public School district did a very nice job on making sure that students were able to obtain the necessary resources to provide a good education and preparation for college and career readiness. There was many staff willing to reach out to the students and help in all academic areas, as well as in thier social areas too. I feel like there could have been more school events (at the high school level) that would help make more students of different age, race, or gender feel more welcomed.
Academics at Walla Walla public schools are very good, classes are usually fun, yet I have ran across some teachers in my school past that have not shown me the same interest or effort as I have shown them, as well as in coaches I have previously had. Diversity and school culture go hand in hand for me, school culture may think they have diversity but being one of the few African American students on Walla Walla high school campus, I know for a fact that we lack in diversity. As for college readiness and resources, I have had many good experiences with mentors and counselors that have helped me get me to where I need to be, especially my school counselor and my Gear Up mentors. The food and facilities are not good at all, food is bland and lacks quality, most facilities don't have AC or heat in times of need. Safety is very good, I always see friendly security guards or vice principals. Overall I give Walla Walla public school districts a 3 out of 5 stars.
