I absolutely love Carbon Hill! The teachers and students are amazing. If I ever need help with anything they’re there for me. I don’t play any sports but I’m very involved with clubs. I’m in National Honor Society, National Beta Club, Anchor Club, and FBLA. I’m in the top ten percent of my class and I have to thank the teachers at Carbon Hill High School for that!

I love going to Curry High School. It's a small school where everybody knows everybody. I started at happy kids day care then moved on to Curry elementary. I've been at Curry my whole life. Most the people I graduated with at day care will be graduating with me this coming up may. It's kinda crazy that we've grown up together for the past 15 years if not longer. Curry is the oldest school in walker county but I would never transfer to another school. Curry is more strict on dress code, phones and hats I can guarantee more than any other walker county school. I principle is just looking out for us in the wrong run by making sure we obey the rules. I would never change any of my teachers for anything even the ones I didn't agree with. I love my school, teacher, and classmates more than I ever thought I would. My class mates mean the world to me I care for each and every one of them. Thank you for this opportunity. #sen18rs
I would like to see better education and fair treatment. The learning experience I’ve had has not been the best. My college readiness is horrible. The teachers aren’t equipped to teach us what we need to know. I’ve had a select few of teachers that were good teachers. Most of the teachers do not care. They just worry about passing someone regardless if they’ve earned a passing grade or not. The treatment is unfair also. If you aren’t active in sports no one cares at all. You are a nobody to everyone else.
