I loved the diversity within the Vista Unified School District as there are kids from all different cultures at every school. I've been in the district my whole academic life, and as there may be problems here and there with facilities and technology, my education was greatly influenced by the teachers and admin. I've loved every minute learning a lot about myself and everything else in between, I'm very thankful to now be a senior and have no regrets about my whole school experience because of the great environment I was surrounded with.

I really liked how united all the VUSD schools are with each other. We (Vista High, RBV, and MVHS) support each other in academics and especially sports even though we are on different levels. Something I would like to see change is more attention and funds put into the sports that we have (especially at Mission Vista). We are really climbing the charts and it is vital to our performance that we train in a good and advanced environment. It also makes the school nicer overall and allows us to grow as a district.
Overall, a good experience and by far the best school in the district with respect to academics and teachers. My one criticism is dissatisfaction with our college counselor who has a reputation for procrastinating and not communicating. Had to escalate to the VP when the counselor was within 5 days if missing the deadline to send in letters of recommendation despite telling me previously it would be done over the holiday break.
