I think the VUSD has been a really great district, especially with the schools that I have attended. I think they really prepare you for college by learning important skills like knowing how to study and creating a planner for homework, the teachers are great as well; really good teachers especially at MVHS!

I have had a great experience relating to academics, with a variety of options, such as engineering all the way to a great music program. Our teachers our overall great, but they have had very questionable choices, such as our Spanish 2 and Chemistry. It has gotten to the point that following year teachers would highly discourage moving on to the following class level. Our food is also one to be looked at, with poor choices, and expensive cuisine. One single slice of pizza can destroy your wallet, with three dollars for a singular slice... plus juice.
I've been enrolled in VUSD for approximately a year and have found nothing to complain about besides the lack of sports involvement. Compared to my previous district, this district actively shows they care about their students and the education they are receiving. The teachers are more than helpful and never fail to make sure you leave the classroom with understanding of the curriculum. Overall, if you are in search of a district that will prepare you for success. stray no further from this one.
