Vincennes Community School Corporation is great! I am a senior in high school at Vincennes Lincoln and I could not ask for much more out of a school. The parents and students are so involved at extracurricular events, and there is always so many people their supporting. The options for clubs and classes are crazy! I am involved in 3 different clubs at Lincoln and they are so much fun. The variety of classes is insane. There are so many options to fit everyone's personality. This even includes dual credit classes! Lincoln High School has so many dual credit classes that I'll have a little over a semester done of college!
During my years in the Vincennes Community School Corporation, also known as the VCSC, I overall had a great experience. The teachers that they hired no matter the grade level did an excellent job communicating the subjects and helping up to do the best that we could. We were often encouraged to participate in as many extracurricular activities as we could, and the teachers helped us to keep up with assignments despite that. However, I cannot say that my experience was perfect. I had select teachers that made certain subjects and material not as enjoyable to learn, and there was not as much support that could be provided in those instances. It added stress that, when added with every other activity, made myself and many others very anxious. In the end, I still feel like my experience in every grade level went well. Although certain aspects could be improved upon, it is mostly minor when looking at the VSCS experience as a whole.
Loved my experience at Lincoln high school! The teachers, faculty, and staff were all helpful and wanted me to succeed. I made lasting bonds with a lot of the faculty there and still continue to talk to them even though I am in college now. While I was in high school, the faculty pushed me to be the best person I could be!
