Victor Central Schools is a very competitive, academically fulfilling district with plenty of opportunity for extracurricular involvement. There are some limitations in the elective offerings at the High School level and the technology 1:1 is slow in developing. Otherwise this has been a rewarding district to grow up in.
Victor Central School District consists of 4 buildings all on one inclusive campus with multiple fields and playground areas. The schools are ranked high because students tend to do very well on exams, and teachers are typically very friendly and helpful. The problem is in the programs. The school spends the majority of it's budget on sports and athletic programs rather than arts, music, or the upkeep of the buildings. With the recent approval of the budget increase however, I am hopeful things will become better. I have personally attended every building on campus and have had all of my education at Victor. I feel there is room for a lot of improvement when it comes to student support and understanding, but compared to other schools Victor schools tend to be more reliable and offer many after-school programs and extra-curricular activities.
I love the fun and inclusive experience of Victor High School. The interactive and multiple activities really engage all of the students, as well as the numerous interesting clubs. There's always something new!
