I have been going to vernonia high school for four years. Throughout my high school experience, I've had several teachers for the same subjects because the high school can not seem to keep teachers. They couldn't find a Spanish teacher for two years which could have prevented me from being able to go to college but I was able to work it out in the end. There is a lot of favoritism in the school and especially in sports but other than that, the environment is good and the teachers that do stay are outstanding.

It's was a good school with a lot of good people, but there were just not enough extras at the school. We only had one language class. We didn't have any shop or automotive classes and the academics were pretty easy to do. The teachers were great people and they cared about what you did and about who you were becoming. The building is a brand-new building but as far as a cafeteria goes, we didn't have a lot of extras that the bigger schools had. Our science labs were small and we didn't have big labs in our chemistry class.
I liked that most of the teachers tried their hardest with the resources they were given, but the school is so underfunded and there are multiple teachers who have worked their too long and have obviously lost their love for teaching and have started to take it out on the students.
