All 3 of the schools I attended in Ventura Unified School District have been excellent in preparing me and inspiring me to go to college. The thing that strikes me the most as amazing is the dedication, passion, and support all of my teachers have. This is the reason I have been able to push myself to pursue a college education; because teachers have gone out of their way to make sure this happens if I tell them my goals. In high school, amazing opportunities have been given to me to help me with the exploration of my intended science major. I have never felt unsafe at a Ventura Unified School District campus, and I have always felt challenged with classes and homework, and I am amazed by the range of classes I have been able to take in my middle school and high school. I am very satisfied with VUSD and I will take all of the skills I have learned with me to university and my career!

Overall Good experience, with a few bumps along the road! Would recommend in my personal opinion. On average all vusd schools are exceptional.
Ventura School District has amazing schools! I am involved in music, sports, and honors classes. The teachers and staff are friendly and helpful. The only thing I would change is that vaping and smoking pot are rampant in the bathrooms and the schools can't seem to stop it. It is unfair for the rest of the students who don't want to be around it. But I am sure this is a problem at most High Schools.
