I graduated from Valley View HS many years ago. It is a small, tight knit community. There are plenty of sports programs to choose from, as well as other extracurricular programs. The faculty is amazing!
I have attended Valley View ISD all through my educational days leading up to collage. Valley View is a wonderful chance for many to have a shot at doing what they love. whether that be in academics, Athletics, U.I.L, or even their Outstanding Band program. One will be sure to find something they love at Valley View. One change i would like to see is in the future students mind set that attend this school district. They are given so many valuable resources by the district but, should strive for greatness always.
As a returning student, it was disappointing to be put down and treated badly just because I was from an exceptional school and a few years more advanced than what they thought. So far they need to improve upon acceptance of transfer student because that was just horrible. It was enough to have me finish out three years in ten weeks just because of how they treated me. I do have to say that with some of the staff I met they were kind and accepting of my situation, but they need to learn how to treat and teach advanced transfers so they don't want to walk to walk out.
