I had a good time at Valley View. However, I would change some things. I would change unnecessary rules that only complicate student's lives. For example, I would change the uniform rule. Most students don't wear the uniform anyway and are rarely punished for it. I would like to see a different rule, one where the student is able to wear school spirit shirts all week. I would also like to see a change in facilities. Most of the restrooms are in need of some type of repair. The food served is also a problem. It is not healthy and not good to taste. Besides all of these changes I would like to see, Valley View is pretty good. The level of academics and opportunities is like no other. You can graduate from high school with a bachelor's degree and a minor certificate. This is extraordinary. I would rate Valley View a 7.5 out of 10.

When I was going to school at the Valley View Independent School District, all of the students were friendly and welcoming. Including, the school staff and school administration they're nice people to get to know. All teachers give good class instruction, and aim for all students to do excellent in their academics. This school district has dual enrollment for high school students, and I was one who got to take college courses during my junior and senior year of high school. This school district did prepare me with college readiness, and feel content about my college classes. Valley View Independent School District helped me succeed in my academics tremendously.
What I liked about Valley View High School is the support from T-STEM staff. Teachers were always there to support students at any assignment or even a personal problem. Also many students were able to graduate with an Associates Degree, before graduating from high school. The drill team and folklorico program are amazing.
