I feel as if the community of Valley Springs is pretty well connected, you know just about everybody. The school cares a lot of there academics and I feel as if it does a good job to prepare you for college. There is also an array of choices of classes to take, as even virtual classes are offered. There was also little drama at the school and you were more easily able to focus on your studies. There are something’s I would change though, such as teachers doing better at explaining what they are teaching, and giving better examples of how to do the work. One thing that also bothered me was that some students would disrespect the teachers or talk loudly about drug use in front of teachers without discipline. Those were the times it was hard to focus in class and really brought down the overall joy of school.

The most important part of attending Valley Springs High School is the students are close knit and not really in groups. The teachers work closely with students and are very attentive to the needs of the students. The whole school is willing and able to help in any way they can to make your experience a great one no matter what your situation is at the time. There is a variety of opportunities to engage in including archery, volleyball, baseball, basketball and golf. The school is a golden Apple school that strives for excellence in education and they prepare you for a transition into college life. Overall, the best school in my area.
I absolutely love this school! I moved here six years ago, and was welcomed so warmly. The school pride here is amazing and I've never seen people come together the way people in the Valley Springs community do. If I were to change anything at all, it would be the cafeteria food. Not a thing else
