Valley Center-Pauma Unified School District Reviews
I've grown up in Valley Center, CA my entire life. The staff within the district are amazing and truly some of the kindest people I've ever met. Our teachers engage with us one on one to help find study plans that best fit our needs. On top of that they try to empower us so we can do the best we can not just academically but in life as well. Valley Center is a community. Our campuses are where a lot of students thrive and we always know that there is someone dependable there for us. Whether it be the principle or another student, nobody is alone. Advanced placement courses are provided as well as extracurricular college readiness courses. The programs such as music, clubs, and sports welcome everyone with open arms and admin encourages people to join. It’s a place we can get to know our peers a little better. Valley Center Pauma School District is a family.
VC is the best! Would not want to go to school anywhere else. Typical small town feel, everyone loves football. The town shuts down every Friday night for games. Being an athlete playing football and baseball, it is nice to feel the support. The academics are pretty relaxed, but the teachers are great. It is more than just a school, it is a family. We all came together when we lost one of the best teachers this school has ever had and it felt great to have that support from the community during the tough times. Leadership and ASB do a great job creating a positive school culture and make it an exciting place to go to school everyday.
Valley Center is a small town, and because of this everyone essentially knows everyone. It’s fun to go to the schools football games because the whole town comes out to support the team and you see a lot of old friends. Valley Center is also very spirited when it comes to other sports as well. The teachers at VC are all dedicated to their students education and are always there to help when needed and love to get involved in the classes.
