I am a college freshman at Valdosta State University and I thoroughly enjoyed my first year here. There was plenty of extracurricular activities and also plenty academic help on campus. The transition from high school to college was a lot easier than I thought, thanks to the amazing staff on campus. The professors were readily available to help if you needed it. Not only were the professors helpful, but the academic advisers did an amazing job at helping with the transition. They wanted to see you succeed as much as you wanted to succeed. Valdosta city schools are a great place to further your education.
I have attended Valdosta city schools from kindergarten to 12th grade. I've had honors rolls and have been rewarded with certificate since I started school. I met good people and the teachers were awesome. I still keep in contact with my kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Blake.
