Valders Area School District Reviews
My overall experience at Valders has been great! It's nice having teachers work with you individually for your to achieve at academics. I love getting involved in so many activities to enjoy! However, the only down side if involved in sports is there is a lot of politic.
Valders Area School District is a small town school. You graduated with the same people that you started kindergarten with. When I attended Valders, I loved majority of my teachers. But shortly after I left, majority of the top teachers started to retire. The school did not prepare me for my future. When I started college I was considered a semester behind everyone else because I did not have options for AP courses. The only class that I took that helped me with my first semester of college was Biology 2, which was Valders version of a upper lever biology class.
Valders is a district that cares about the individual student. The district has a long history of excellence in science and music. The community is supportive of staying current in facilities and technology. Evidence of success is not measured in the top scores, but in the actual meeting of every child's individual potential. This is shown in graduation rate and success after high school.
