Valverde unified school district is a diverse environment for education and professional development. As a parent, I feel confident that my children are getting an excellent experience in academically and socially. It is important to me that the education environment encourages students to be involved in their school and community. I believe Valverde pushes the boundaries and set no limit which allows students to develop their dreams and worth. I have three children attending this district. One in high school, one in Middle school and one in elementary. Valverde offer cutting edge technology in their classroom from elementary all the way up to high school. At a high school level, they offer innovative technology like drafting computers for future engineers. I will continue to support and be involve in the expansion of knowledge for students at Valverde unified school district.
Very a great district, that works on helping students with the new technological advancements that are to be in our future as well as the importance of online safety. They bridge the gap of those that cant afford computers and wifi and provide them free of charge for students to borrow throughout all grades and provide upgrades.
Valverde is a very good district that has provided me, as a student with several opportunities to excel academically. Opportunities ranging from sports to clubs and academic programs. I am currently enrolled in the middle college high school program. This program allows me to take classes at a community college to be able to graduate high school with an associate's degree. This being done while still taking my high school classes every day. While I am still a part of the high school, I do not attend it. Instead, I attend the community college. When I attending my regular school I enjoy the several activities that I could be a part of. The district offers several competitive sports and even hosts an annual club rush for those who are not athletes. Faculty members are easily accessible when someone needs to speak with them. Academic counselors are also there for the students to discuss their issues when needed. The students enjoy themselves at the dances and pep rallies.
