Overall, my experience with the district was good. I had been lucky to meet some great teachers that really always made the class enjoyable and like one big family. Some things I would like to see changed would probably be the lunches as I feel they could be better quality.
I found it to be a very diverse environment that introduced me to a lot of new things I was previously uncultured with, while simultaneously granting me many opportunities for the future. On the other hand though, lots of students were provoked by very minute triggers to act out of rage, and many facilty members took minimal effort to provide a sense of safety for students until after the situation escalates past a point of no return
Utica Schools get a bad reputation for no reason! My experiences in the UCSD will help me be career and college ready. The teachers and opportunities offered through the schools set me up for success.
