I like Upper Darby School district for it diversity. I have been and attended school in this school district since my birth. The township is multicultural hence the school district is diverse and very rich is culture. I like the fact that you feel completely at home which makes you recognize that you really do have a stake in the school district.
The teaches and all administrative staff that I have encountered and interacted with, are extremely nice and helpful. They provided useful guidance towards me making my intended career choice. The school district has great reputation in sports, helping kids to succeed in various sports activities. The Bus system is good as I never had any issues while I was a Bus student.
THIS SCHOOL DISTRICT ROCKS! It has played a significant role in the person that I am today. I will someday like to come back as an Alumni and mentor upcoming students.

Diverse school, great opportunities for success. You will find a few teachers who you will continue to stay in contact with even after high school because they are that good! Some teachers here literally devote their life to their students and will do everything in their power to help their students succeed.
I've been in the Upper Darby School District from kindergarten up to high school. The middle schools, especially Beverly Hills Middle School, are below average in terms of teacher quality, academics, and school culture. However, Upper Darby High School was amazing. Most teachers cared for their students and were willing to support kids that took their education seriously. One of the major flaws about UD High School is their guidance counselor system. There were three guidance counselors for an entire class, with each counselor responsible for at least 300 students to look at for. Having that many students is often detrimental and students are getting the one on one help that they truly need, especially when it comes to applying for colleges outside PA. That is why most students end up enrolling at either Temple University, Penn State University, Drexel University, West Chester University, or DCCC. There is not much diversity in where the students end up after high school.
