When I attended Union Public Schools from 2011-2018, it was a really amazing school. There were many resources available to students free of charge that would help them succeed when success seemed too far to achieve. I have a little brother that attends Union currently. I wish that they would honor is IEP more so that my parents could send him to school with confidence that he will get the help he needs. On the other hand, he is being home schooled through Union and is doing great. His teachers are amazing and very helpful!
As a senior at Union Public Schools, my experience has been both rewarding and enriching. The best parts include the diverse community, quality education, and a wide range of extracurricular opportunities. The school is supportive and fosters a strong sense of community.
However, there are challenges such as large class sizes, a heavy emphasis on standardized testing, and limited course offerings. I believe there is room for improvement in these areas.
In terms of changes, I'd like to see increased support for mental health, enhanced college preparation resources, and a greater focus on critical thinking and creativity in the curriculum.
In summary, Union Public Schools has provided me with a strong foundation for my academic and personal development as I prepare to graduate.

When I first moved to Union I was very impressed with the amazing facilities. As an athlete I was able to tour the softball facilities and was in awe. The indoor facility with its large locker room, weight room, indoor field, and batting cages that lower down, was incredibly impressive. The teachers I have had over the year have mostly been good and helped me get where I need to be. The food courts at the high school are amazing with plenty of options and a very kind staff. The college and career department helps prepares students for any aspect of life after high school and is very kind when doing so. Majority of my time at Union has been pleasant and appreciated.
