The school overall is an average high school. The advanced classes are taught by better teachers and is where most of the true learning occurs. On-level classes have a greater disparity in teacher quality and actual learning. The school is one of the more updated schools in the area and has a very large population relative to the state. It is moderately diverse and attempts to have equal opportunities regardless of background. The school is one of the higher quality schools in Oklahoma, but compared to other states ranks much poorer. Overall, the school attempts to create an atmosphere of learning to the best of it's abilities despite the hectic Oklahoma Board of Education and all of its changes to curriculum and low budget.

I loved the culture of the school. Union hosts kids from every racial and socioeconomic background there is. Union holds a strong family value that brings all of these great diverse people together despite our great differences. Another great thing about union is there is truly a friend for everyone. Its diverse population gives every kid a chance at finding the perfect friends. Likewise, there are academics for every student regardless of the pace they learn at. students are able to select their schedule from a wide variety of curriculum that are tailored to their individual needs. Career advisers and counselors steer each student into their own individual path to academic success. The diverse student population is also very representative of the real world and gives you an opportunity to immerse yourself in a wide variety of cultures, enabling us to have an understanding and respect for people of all backgrounds.
I love Union! No matter who you are, where you come from, or where you plan on going; Union welcomes yoU! The school is huge and very nice. They make sure their is something there for you to get involved in, and nearly all students are in extra curricular activities. Union goes all the way with everything they do. Whether it’s Orchestra, Wrestling, Robotics, or the Rubics Cube Club. They make sure everyone knows they came and gave it all they got. Union always wants to make our community proud because we don’t have a specific city/town for our school. Therefore we might not get as many sponsors or opportunities, but that means that our supports give us 100%. Alumni, students, and future students are always beaming with pride and love for Union. Our superintendent is fantastic. All the staff is amazing and most went to Union. I love Union and all the loving memories it gave me.
