Union Public Schools Reviews
I love Union! No matter who you are, where you come from, or where you plan on going; Union welcomes yoU! The school is huge and very nice. They make sure their is something there for you to get involved in, and nearly all students are in extra curricular activities. Union goes all the way with everything they do. Whether it’s Orchestra, Wrestling, Robotics, or the Rubics Cube Club. They make sure everyone knows they came and gave it all they got. Union always wants to make our community proud because we don’t have a specific city/town for our school. Therefore we might not get as many sponsors or opportunities, but that means that our supports give us 100%. Alumni, students, and future students are always beaming with pride and love for Union. Our superintendent is fantastic. All the staff is amazing and most went to Union. I love Union and all the loving memories it gave me.
I loved my time at Union. I made a lot of friends and got involved in school activities. I also got to take classes that i was interested in. Most of my teachers were very helpful and understanding. I would say Union mostly prepared me for college. Overall, I had an amazing high school experience and wouldn’t trade going to Union over anything!
Of course no school is perfect I think Union gets pretty close. The opportunities in Union is unlike almost any other school district. The head of the theater department has been nominated for a Tony multiple times, the athletics department is amazing, (specifically soccer, football, and basketball) but all the sports are dedicated to making students the best they can be. They offer a variety of AP courses, concurrent enrollment, and even a program where a student can graduate high school with an associate's degree. The majority of teachers and staff work tirelessly to accomplish the impossible goal of a 100% graduation rate, and with over a thousand kids in each grade, they have come really close. I could go on and on about all the wonderful programs and opportunities like the CCC or the Marching Band or the fashion design class. No school is perfect but from my experience, Union is pretty close.
