Union County-College Corner Joint School District Reviews
Union County College Corner Joint School District is quite the underdog when it comes to reputation and performance. A small school within a small community is not expected to be anything but ordinary, yet UCCCJDS proves this statement wrong. Although the district is small, lacking in funding, and set in the shadow of several prestigious schools, it makes up for it in care, determination, and heart that radiates from not just the staff and faculty, but the students as well. This school district is run as efficiently as possible, with as much heart as possible. The people who make education here possible allow the students to have a bright future ahead of them, despite coming from such a small community.
Union County was a very small and close community. The sports and music programs are very successful. I believe the academic portion is ranked well compared to area schools. One negative is the lack of college courses and the resources need to be improved at the school. The counselors, teachers and administration create a great learning environment. My only criticism would be about the lack of college credit and readiness. The facilities are nice.
Both my husband and went to Union County and now our kids go there we wouldn't have it any other way. The teachers treat their students just like one of there own.
