My overall high school experience at Union High School in Union, New Jersey has been a good one. Union High School is diversified and has several clubs for students to get involved in. The teachers take pride in the school and they are always willing to assist students when in need. They provide extra help before and after school, so students have no excuse if they need extra help in a subject as all the teachers are accessible weekly.
During my high school experience there have been a few fights, however overall that behavior is not tolerated and is dealt with swiftly when it happens. I have always felt safe while walking the halls of Union High School.
I have friends from all cultures, which has allowed me to become well-rounded regarding other cultures, language and food differences.
I have enjoyed my four years of being a student at Union High School in Union, New Jersey!
Review Union City School District
Being a student in the Union City School District has been a challenge with numerous benefits. The resources provided to the students from elementary to high school are beneficial for the development of the students and guides them down a rewarding path. Though, during my time in high school I do lament that there was a heavy influence of STEM oriented programs for students but a scarce few for students pursuing humanities such as law, english, or any other career that was not STEM affiliated. I do hope in the future the resources are broaden to fully include all interests of the students and to ensure their interests matter and are being taken into account.
