Uintah School District is overall pretty good. I do believe that they spend too much time, money, and efforts into sports like football. They spent multiple millions on a training facility for the football team to train year round and beat other teams; yet they still loose. All the while, the academic clubs like FFA are consistently going and placing at nationals and they are hardly acknowledged much less well funded. I think that they could use a shift of their priorities.

I love the teachers and you learn so much here! Everything is amazing for learning and a great environment to do so, the only problem is there are lots of student not wanting to be here and so they challenge themselves academically and they make it so everyone else can have a rotten experience. Other then that I would say 5 stars for this school.
I am a former student at Uintah High School, and for the most part I truly did not enjoy my experience there. Yes, it is a safe school where most teachers and students are friendly and respect each other. With that said though there are a lot of flaws with the school and in my eyes revolves a lot around the LDS religion. Most students and teachers are members of the LDS church and at times can play high favoritism with each other. For example, specifically with the sports programs there are several coaches that have no business still being a coach, but are still employed and will be for as long as they want because of their religion standing. And on the other hand coaches that are actually good and know what they are doing are driven out of town if they don't abide by the same believes as parents and the school board.
