My school experience involve many different activities. I am involved in a multitude of things including Youth for Christ Lunch Club, FFA, Art, Marching Band, Jazz Band, Concert Band, Cross Country, Track, NHS, Student Council, Dual Enrollment, and a Mentoring Program. I also love to spend my time volunteering with various organizations and being involved in these programs. Being involved has helped me meet new people and this is one of my favorite parts about high school. I would like to see more people become involved at Ubly. I wish every student could be supportive of all the wondrous activities Ubly offers. This is something as a Student Government member, I have tried to get more people to do.

I liked the close family feel that Ubly Schools presents. Growing up in a small town allows for everyone to know everyone. In doing so, you care for everyone as if they are your own. One thing I would like to see change is having more students involved in various activities. The students that are not involved do not care and would rather just relax at home. Being involved in different activities allows for people to connect with others and develop friendships.
Ubly Community Schools has given me a great learning environment since I was in Kindergarten. Most of the teachers here care greatly about the students, from their education to overall well-being. There is a sense of community when you walk through the doors that helps students, staff, and parents to feel at home.
Even though there are some wonderful aspects of Ubly Community Schools, it is still lacking in some areas. I feel that there is no diversity in the school because of the small population in our town, and that may be stopping students from feeling comfortable in their own skin if they are different than the others. There also seems to be a shortage of resources in the counseling department to help students feel ready for the college application process or other changes in their life.
