Rating 4.06 out of 5 16 reviews
I had the privilege of attending Tusky Valley from K-12th grade. I loved all my experienced from Tusky Valley and attribute my success to the amazing teachers and staff that this school district has. The superintendent was always involved, we saw him everywhere and it was helpful to put a face to the man making decisions for our school district. My only complaint would be the guidance counselors in the high school. As I was preparing to head into my junior year I hardly heard anything about CCP. I would go to talk to my guidance counselors and they would really push AP classes, which have their own pros, but for my circumstances, it would have made more sense for me to attend College Credit Plus from early on. I still love this school and I am extremely grateful to have attended such a phenomenal school. My only problem was I wish the guidance counselors would look more personally at each students case, rather than generalizing all students.
The staff is very helpful including the guidance counselor in which was very fast at responding. I loved the sports at Tuscarawas valley the coaches push us and we even won state.
I loved how dedicated the faculty was to giving students a quality education. Increased school spirit and updated facilities would make TV the perfect school. They are planning on building a new school in the upcoming years which will greatly increase students desire to attend Tusky Valley. As far as school spirit, a new football coach and volleyball coach were hired, which should lead to more school spirit. Better pep rallys would also be great.
