In Turner I feel that the schools are really good. The schools are really trying to help their students, But some of the teachers don't teach as well as the rest. Also, Turner when i was in elementary school, they skipped a whole generation of students. They didn't teach us cursive or basic multiplication until almost middle school. But now they have changed their way and are teaching new generation the things they didn't teach us.
The Turner Unified School district has opened multiple educational and career opportunities for me and my future pathway. They offer several courses of your choosing that will help you with your goals towards a career. Additionally, I have received advanced credits from the partnership with Kansas City Kansas Community College.
This is not a school to attend if you as a parent, or student, value your emotional and academic well-being. The teachers are apathetic at best, involved at worst. There is no set system to help students succeed, and there is a blatant sense of judgement and favoritism. If they do not view you as useful they will not give you the time of day to help you better yourself, nor prepare you for college. Do not attend.
