Tri-Valley High School is a wonderful school. In the 2019-2020 school year we got a new principal who is making so many good changes. The teachers of Tri-Valley High School are very helpful when it comes to helping students understand their material. The teachers are also great role models and encourage students to do their best. Us students try our best to make our 6 years of high school a fun and easy experience. We have a great variety of extra curricular activities and electives for students to participate in. Our school also provides the opportunity to be involved in agriculture activities and classes like small engines, wildlife management, etc. We also added a new extra curricular activity which is archery which allows students to participate in many competitions and our first year the archery we made it to states! We may have a small school but we are very diverse and competitive.

I appreciated the support system the faculty and staff provided me. I wasn't a part of any of the sports, clubs, or band; however it seemed to be enjoyable for my peers who did participate in them. I was treated the same as any other student despite my hearing impairment, which I appreciated considering it is an insecurity of mine. I enjoyed my time in the Tri-Valley school district, and I am grateful for the experience I have had there.
As far as a high school in the middle of nowhere, TVHS is okay. There is a huge problem with bullying, regardless of the zero-tolerance policy. The arts are not supported very well and the school focuses on sports more. The old principal, Mr. Hall, was incredibly awful at his job and was very disrespectful to students, staff, and parents, however he is reportedly retiring and being replaced. Some teachers are lukewarm but there are plenty of teachers that care a lot about students and are very helpful.
