Tri-Valley Local School District Reviews
I am part of a 4 generation family that has attended Tri-Valley School district . I have always felt enormous pride for our district, as there is an immense amount of community support and love. Tri -Valley genuinely cares about the success of its students, and its staff strives to give the students the tools, knowledge and resources they need to succeed. They provide a wonderful athletic environment, where nearly 400 of their high school students partake in fall sporting activities. They support and encourage sports. Students of Tri -Valley schools are give multiple opportunities to get involved and take advantage of many activities.
I’ve been a Tri-Valley student all my life. I know all there is to know about the culture and involvement at this school. My experience here has been relatively positive, but there are some issues here that I will address. I was a cross country runner, and for my last year the sport wasn’t funded by the school. Lunches are mixed, some days there are good meals, some days there aren’t. Same with the teachers. Some are amazing at what they do, and others are not. Bullying seems to not be a problem, but drugs are a problem among lots of students. There are some positives. Administrators and authority do their job right and tackle the drug and disciplinary problems head on. They’re all relatively nice people too. I take AP classes and my calculus teacher is very gifted in teaching the topic. With all of these points I’ve given, I’d give my school’s student experience an average rating.
Excellent community, especially if you're in the athletics scene. The schools sports teams are also often quite successful. I myself was apart of the football team, for both the shot at a state championship and our eighth straight league title. Nearly all teachers care deeply about their subjects, and for their students. My only complaint is with some of the administration. While they typically make very intelligent choices, it isn't unheard of for them to make seemingly pointless or counter productive.
