I will forever be proud to have graduated from Treynor. A great culture of success and excellence runs through everyone who attends and who has attended this school. This place prepared me for college well and gave many of my friends and I a great high school experience. The teachers are top notch and we have beautiful facilities! And above all the community is tight knit and extremely supportive of all the kids in each of their activities from football to wrestling to speech and especially to band!
I really like how the teachers truly want to help you and see you succeed in and it of school. They'll help you on your homework and try to help you with personal problems if you ask for it. A lot of the teachers are coaches of some sort wether that be for a music program, athletics, or speech. The community is amazing as well because we all want to help each other. The curriculums themselves are challenging but accomplishable. All in all, I have had a pretty great experience.
While the academics in the Treynor Community School District excel in many ways, it is possible that the environment is causing its students to not reach their full potential. It's true that I felt very prepared for college after having gone to a school rich with resources, opportunities, and good teachers. However, Treynor Schools tend to severely lack diversity and have poor culture.
