Treutlen County high school was definitely an experience. I never felt very challenged with the course offerings and elective classes. The focus in the school was particularly on the not-so-good football team and not much was invested in other area of sports except basketball or in any of the extracurricular or art programs. When I left in 2018, the music program was still shrinking in the high school and not much was being done for prep band, competition, or concerts.
The facilities were pretty good since the building was recently built around 2012, with a nice, new library and decently new computers.
Overall, the school and those in the school just seemed to be okay with mediocre, with only a few students and teachers willing to push to be great or be the best they could be.

The school is very small. Everybody knows everybody which can be a great thing. I spent all 4 years of high school here and the only negative was that administration was never consistent with their actions. They changed leaders every single year, but even under the same principle rules were twisted to mean different things each week.
Treutlen High was a really great school. The teachers are there to help you and you can do many different extra curricular activities. The staff is very friendly.
