A lot of people have something to say about Topeka Public Schools. Mostly parents, I however am a student. I enjoyed my time at TPS, like any school district, it has room for improvement. Every school in the district is different, I attended Chase Middle school and Highland Park High School. My high school experience was much better than my middle school experience. I think the teachers are good but the administration and the teachers are usually not on the same page. Many of my teachers express their views for that also. I feel that if the administration was more involved in the everyday class room life then it would help a lot more.

I feel I have gotten a great education from top of the line teachers that care about me. The teachers go above and beyond to help you understand the class you are taking. I have also enjoyed the diversity at my school. It is neat to work with students from all backgrounds. I have enjoyed being involved in a variety of activities at school from sports, band, orchestra and National Honor Society to name a few.
Topeka Public Schools has provided my all of my education since kindergarten. They've pushed me to seek greater potentials I never would of imagined. They've given me a place to safely learn, grow, make mistakes, and a place to call home. They not only cared for my safety, but my families as well. I am very thankful for all it has given my family and I. Now as I go into my senior year with Topeka Public Schools, I'm hoping to make it the best one. They may not be the school district with the most money and findings, but the teachers dedication to students learning environments, in and out of the classroom, are what make Topeka Public Schools the best. The only complaint I would merely have is administrations involvement in extra curriculars. Especially Marching Band.
