Growing up in Tomball was awesome to experience. I saw a sub rural town transform to an urban city . With that being said I also got to see the Tomball Independent School District grow rapidly. Each year TISD keeps improving on every aspect to prepare kids for the real world and teach them the important life skills needed. TISD is one of the strongest school districts around. The school district is always academic first, and every year composes a more challenging curriculum in order to help the students grow in their academic studies. One of their high schools, Tomball Memorial High School was ranked fifty second in the entire nation for high schools! TISD also offers dual credit classes to help the students prepare for college and develop the techniques of a college students. From my personal experience from dual credit classes it has help me in my college readiness process; to be more organized, develop better study habits, and challenge myself in the classroom.

Tomball High School lives up to its motto, "The Pride of Texas". Recently, media has caught site of racial descrimation within the school. Thus, Tomball High School has been receiving a negative reputation throughout the community. However, as a student of Tomball High School I see the our community as a smaller representation of a bigger society with the same opinions, values, and opportunities. Tomball High School is a proactive place that students find it safe and vital to share their views and enlighten the community on conservcial topics throughout our nation. We, the students, feel free to voice our opinions to the community and become individuals. We, Tomball High School, are the pride of Texas.
Tomball is an okay school district. There's not so much variety, it's mainly conformed by white students that are local and have lived there all their lives. Sometimes the staff is a little useless when it comes to solving or not solving problems at all. If you complain about bullying or any other issues it's not solved in the way it should be. On the other hand you get a good learning experience, they have a lot of older teachers who do a really good job, and the counselors are amazing and guide kids through the right path.
