Todd County Public Schools Reviews
Todd County Public School system is one that is flawed in many aspects. From the narrow-minded teachers, to the power wielding administration. They each try to force students in a "box" for their learning. Students have to fit into a certain standard or they aren't deemed a good enough student. But academics is not the only area that is flawed in this school system. Funds are not evenly distributed among activities and sports or extracurricular activities that are favored receive the majority of the money that is supposed to be set aside for all school related activities and functions. This leaves students to pay more out of pocket costs for things like prom, project graduation and even things in the middle and elementary schools. This is a district that does not value children's education or values.
Todd County is a very same county. The school system is willing to help you if you are struggling. They take the time of day to help you if you don't understand something or explain it in a different way for you to understand. I would like to see improvement in the curriculum in English, and Chemistry.
Like every schools system it has its ups and downs, we don't have to many people so its not to crowded. There also isn't very many programs to chose from and not many classes are offered. I feel as the years go by the less classes there are to take and its hard to get your classes filled with something you're actually interested in.
